New York Times Now Reporting Positives About COVID Treatment They Slammed Trump for Touting

The New York Times is now reporting about the positives of a potential treatment for the COVID-19 virus despite initially slamming President Trump for touting the positives of the drugs.

According to The Daily Wire:

Despite coming on the heels of promising research, President Donald Trump’s hope that hydroxychloroquine would prove effective against coronavirus was met with jeers from national media.

But now, the New York Times itself is walking back that criticism.

Studies, however, show that there may be truth behind Trump’s comments. Less than two weeks after attacking Trump for his “embrace of unproven drugs,” the NYT published an article April 1 about a small study that indicated hydroxychloroquine may help virus patients improve.

“The malaria drug hydroxychloroquine helped to speed the recovery of a small number of patients who were mildly ill from the coronavirus, doctors in China reported this week,” the NYT article on the drug reported.

The media’s hatred of President Trump leads them to argue the opposite that President Trump is arguing even if what he is saying is correct. This does nothing but shows that they are an opposition entity and to an unbiased reporting mechanism. It strengthens Trump’s argument that the media is the enemy of the people.
