The leaders of multiple conservative organizations have written a letter to House Ways and Means Committee Chair Rep. Richard Neal saying he should request President-elect Joe Biden’s bank records. The conservative coalition pointed out that Rep. Neal has previously talked about the obligation for investigations into criminal wrongdoing by public officials. In 2019, the Democrat revealed his own tax returns as a show of “transparency” while urging President Trump to release his own tax returns

In the letter, the group of conservatives urges Biden to reveal his bank records after reports of Hunter Biden’s nefarious overseas dealing became public. The letter reads, “We hope that you would welcome the chance to assist Vice President Biden in laying to rest any allegations that he was using his office and official travel to influence foreign governments or entities to benefit his son’s businesses.  And to answer this question: Was any of that income received by Vice President Biden or other family members?”
