Trump’s Disgraced Niece, Mary Trump Enters the Political Arena to Bash Family Once Again

President Trump’s disgraced niece Mary is entering the political fray. Mary Trump is joining the board of LPAC, an organization that supports LGBTQ+ female candidates running for office and she’s doing so because she believes her uncle and former president nearly “destroyed America’s democratic system of governance.” Trump is no friend to the rest of the family after publishing a scathing book about the Trumps and leaking financial documents to a team of reporters at The New York Times.

Mary is hoping to capitalize on her name and connection to the family to help more female and LGBTQ+ candidates elected to office. LPAC played a major role in Democrat Sens. Tammy Baldwin and Kyrsten Sinema campaigns.

According to Politico:

“We came really close to losing our democracy — and I may sound melodramatic but it happens to be true,” Trump said in an interview on Thursday. “I feel it’s the beginning of the fight because we came so close to losing everything, and we’re also faced with a situation in which there’s this fight over the filibuster, and it’s important we understand this is about representation across the board.”

Trump, who worked with LPAC before the election, was asked to join the group as it works to recruit candidates for office and raise funds ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. In this political moment, she said, she hopes to use her name and platform to “move away from what has been one of the worst administrations in this country’s history on almost every level.”

Trump also berated President Trump’s children Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric for floating ideas of political aspirations in the future.

“I think we should all resent having to have that conversation. Because they are, despite being — let’s put it this way, they have no qualifications, they have no skills,” she said. “Ivanka and Jared just spent the last four years allegedly as employees of the government using their position to make hundreds of millions of dollars which isn’t how it’s supposed to work. I hope they’ll be sitting next to their dad in depositions for the next few years.”

Despite her best efforts to attack her own family and destroy its legacy, her uncle has repeatedly come out on top. The former president is considering another run for the White House, but Mary claims he will be too busy in court referencing an ongoing investigation into his taxes.

“He’s not going to run,” she said. “He’s going to pretend to run and keep grifting where he can off the people who will support him. But I think his most time-consuming job in the next couple of years is going to be as a defendant.”

As much as the disgraced niece claims to hate her family she easily forgets that her last name is the most interesting about her and likely the only real reason she has been able to move copies of her defamatory book let alone be selected as a board member of any political organization.
