As reports and photos continue to emerge depicting a crisis on our southern borders Biden has done nothing. Overcrowded facilities holding immigrant children over 700% capacity has elicited little response from the Biden camp who simply claims that agents are “overwhelmed.” However now, Biden has finally decided how he plans to deter migrants from flooding our borders, he’s launched a Twitter campaign.
The official Twitter for the United States Haitian Embassy tweeted a photo of Biden with text translated to “I can say quite clearly, don’t come over.”

This is a stark contrast from the Trump administration which actually approached the situation at the border with common-sense solutions. Trump started the construction of a high-tech border wall which has proven to deter illegal crossings. Trump also enacted Migrant Protection Protocols such as the “remain-in-Mexico” policy which required migrants to stay in Mexico while awaiting trial. However within Biden’s first weeks as president, he repealed each of these policies and now our border is out of control.
Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro has even said the U.S. is on track to encounter more migrants than the past 20 years, “We are on pace to encounter more individuals on the southwest border than we have in the last 20 years.” [Keep Reading: DHS Chief: Border Numbers on Track to Be Highest in 20 Years]
During the Trump administration, the media was able to travel to the border and see for themselves the conditions. Yet under the Biden administration, the media is kept at arm’s length border officials are given a gag order. Now, Biden has tapped Kamala Harris to lead the effort to fix the border crisis despite her laughing at a reporter when questioned if she plans to visit the border. President Biden has yet to travel to the border to witness the devastation he’s caused despite multiple Republican-led coalitions making the journey. House Leader Kevin McCarthy described what he witnessed at the border as “worse than a crisis” calling it “human heartbreak.”
He seems to think a couple of tweets will fix it and deter thousands of migrants from coming to the border. Clearly, this administration has no idea how to some the irreparable damage its already caused to America in only two months.
