On Thursday, the House Select Committee investigating the events surrounding the January 6th Capitol riot issued six new subpoenas to House Republicans, calling on four lawmakers to testify before the panel.

If the lawmakers don’t comply with the subpoena, the House could potentially vote to hold those members in contempt and refer them to the Department of Justice for prosecution.
