Could A Trump 2024 Announcement Be Coming Soon?

A couple of weeks ago during a stop in Robstown, Texas, President Trump teased the crowd with talks of running again in 2024. During the appearance Trump said, according to AP, “in order to make our country successful, safe and glorious again, I will probably have to do it again.” Many are theorizing the “probably” in that statement will be removed at some point in the next few weeks especially the two weeks following the November 8 Midterm Elections. Trump’s former White House chief of staff, Reince Priebus, has even said he is “95% [sure] he’s going to run.”

Leaving only one question – will any other big GOP leaders run against him?

If the former president runs, it would be hard for any other Republican to beat him. While Trump has historically mentioned running for office only to back down since the 80s, many close to him have said he is eager to get back to politics. If he were to run it would be a historic feat for any former president to make such a return to the Presidential race and the White House.

As Trump continues to tease the news, AP has announced that there have been discussions about venues for a formal announcement. It has been especially observed as Trump campaigns for the midterm candidates. It has also been theorized that the work Trump has been doing in helping with campaigns is to ensure he has the momentum to build off with his announcement after helping Republicans take the majority in Congress.

Keep your eye out for an announcement, in the next couple weeks. Though if there is a delay in results or a runoff in Georgia, Trump’s announcement could come later than expected.
