Thursday Palm Beach Police responded to a trespassing call from former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate. Fox News has reported that Police “were seen outside the club Thursday morning but have now departed” and Secret Service has reportedly conducted a sweep of the property after they left. Palm Beach Police Cpt. Will Rothrock mentioned that it was a typical trespassing call besides being Mar-a-Lago, and the police department conducted their standard protocol for that sort of call.

According to Fox News, the Palm Beach Police were called by Secret Service when a male stopped at one of the gates and refused to leave the property. Once Palm Beach Police responded, they spoke to the man and issued him a warning for trespassing, and the man then left.

It is unclear if Trump was at Mar-a-Lago when the incident occurred, though he was scheduled to be at a campaign rally in Iowa later Thursday.

This incident comes less than a week after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s house was broken into and her husband was assaulted. While there isn’t a correlation to that event it is interestingly timed so close to that. There is also no known motive for the trespassing event, and no incident report was filed.
