Under Fire: Kamala Harris Omits Portion Of Declaration Of Independence

Kamala Harris is under fire after omitting a key piece of the Declaration of Independence from her speech at the 50th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. The Vice President gave a speech on the occasion though she left out two key phrases and Twitter took notice. Harris left out the words “life” and “creator” during the speech. Making the event laughable as she was attempting to give an abortion speech but used a doctrine calling for the right to life, by our creator.

According to Fox News:

“We collectively believe and know, America is a promise. … It is a promise of freedom and liberty, not just some but for all. We are each endowed with the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” Harris said Sunday.
The document’s original text reads: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

After her speech, many took to Twitter to express their thoughts on the situation as the VP attempted to rewrite history by omitting words that went against her central message. Some even arguing that her omission exposed how weak her argument was.
