In response to Special Counsel John Durham’s report, which concluded that the FBI’s inquiry into the 2016 Trump presidential campaign was unwarranted and based on no solid evidence, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Monday evening to share his perspective. Trump vehemently contended that the investigation was nothing more than a Democratic hoax, drawing a parallel between it and allegations of election fraud. Utilizing his Truth Social platform, Trump left no room for ambiguity, labeling the actions of certain FBI agents as treasonous and accusing them of perpetrating a substantial fraud on the American people.
There is a growing belief among many individuals that both Representative Adam Schiff and Representative Eric Swalwell should face consequences for their alleged dishonesty towards the American public, their purported attempts to manipulate a Presidential election, and their squandering of resources on an unfounded investigation in an apparent bid to tarnish the President’s reputation and manipulate future elections. Many have turned their attention once again to former Presidental candidate Hillary Clinton, questioning her awareness of the fabricated inquiry and noting that she utilized campaign funds to support the production of the controversial and fabricated “pee dossier.”
According to Breitbart:
In a series of posts on the former president’s Truth Social account Monday, Trump called the actions of certain FBI agents as being tantamount to “treason” and how a “great fraud” had been pushed on the American people.
In subsequent posts, the former president expressed gratitude for firing former FBI Director James Comey and called upon Congress to enact measures to ensure it never happens again.
“Based on the review of Crossfire Hurricane and related intelligence activities, we conclude that the Department and the FBI failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law in connection with certain events and activities described in this report,” the report said.
“Our investigation also revealed that senior FBI personnel displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor towards the information that they received, especially information received from politically affiliated persons and entities,” the report went on to say, apparently referencing the Hillary Clinton campaign-funded Fusion GPS “pee dossier.”
The findings of the report made it clear that there was no significant evidence to support the claim of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Moreover, the report shed light on the flaws in the FBI’s approach, highlighting their failure to maintain objectivity throughout the investigation into the Trump campaign. As a result, many individuals are calling for the FBI to be held accountable for these shortcomings, as both the FBI and the Department of Justice have demonstrated susceptibility to political manipulation. This concern is amplified by their alleged interference in both the 2016 and 2020 Presidential elections, exemplified by their inaccurate and deceptive characterization of the Hunter Biden laptop story as “Russian disinformation.”
