MSNBC Reporter Says Undecided Voter Chose Trump Over Harris Because She Didn’t Go On Joe Rogan Podcast

MSNBC correspondent Gadi Schwartz said Tuesday that one undecided voter he spoke with chose to support Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris failing to appear on the “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

The former president spoke with prominent podcaster Joe Rogan for nearly three hours on an Oct. 26 episode, which gained over 45 million views as of Tuesday. A young voter said he made his decision to support Trump after Harris declined to go on Rogan’s show, Schwartz said.

“A little while ago we were talking to two guys, one of them said that he was on the fence until he said when Kamala did not go on the Joe Rogan podcast, that was what influenced his vote. He ended up voting for Trump, but he said he was open to listening to Kamala on the podcast and when she didn’t, again, not necessarily all the issues, but the fact that, he said, she didn’t seem like a real person because she couldn’t talk for an extended period of time,” Schwartz said.

The Harris campaign offered Rogan an interview with the vice president in late October, though they insisted that the famous podcaster travel to them for a one hour interview, Rogan said on X. Rogan said the most efficient way to conduct the interview would be to hold it at his home studio in Austin, Texas, for the usual time span of approximately three hours.

Rogan’s audience comprises 80% male viewers, with 51% falling between the ages of 18-34, according to Edison Research. He endorsed Trump on Monday, just one day before the election.
