Colorado and Nevada still have pockets of Republican votes, but Washington state is the next stage in the process, largely driven by the liberals in Seattle. The “magnet” state has consistently elected Democrats statewide and has not voted for a Republican president since 1984. In the 2000’s, the votes were close, as was the case when Dino Rossi ran, but there were always just enough Democrats to prevail, by hook or by crook. Washington is well on it’s way to becoming another version of the final state transformed by immigration.
