Early into the Trump administration James Comey and Donald Trump had a meeting in which Comey had informed the President of a document that contained all sorts of salacious things about the President. The media already had this document that would come to be known as the Steele Dossier. After this meeting, the media coverage of the document exploded and the FBI used it as an opportunity to explore the Trump campaign further.
