2020 Presidential Contender Accepted Money From Trump

A new report is indicating that President Trump and his daughter Ivanka actually donated money to Kamala Harris’s campaign for Attorney General of California.

According to The Daily Mail:

Sen. Kamala Harris, who represents California, ran for re-election as the state’s Attorney General four years ago.

The Trump family handed a total of $8,000 to her campaign coffers between 2011 and 2014.

During her first term as attorney general Trump gave Harris $5,000, then he donated a further $1,000 in 2013, before his daughter, Ivanka, wrote a check for $2,000 in 2014.

But Ian Sams, a spokesman for Harris, said she did not use Trump’s money and instead donated $6,000 in 2015 to a charity that works for Central American’s civil rights, the Sacramento Bee reports.

Trump also donated to Democrats Jerry Brown, and Gavin Newsome, as well as former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
