In the wake of the Coronavirus Trump did everything he could have done to shut down the border and limit the spread of the virus. Despite this the left claimed he had done nothing and claimed he could have shut down the whole country. The issue here is that Trump does not have the authority to shut down the nation at the snap of a finger. States and other executive officers have to make the move to shut down their respective areas with Trump.
