4.) Charging Trump Was Never on the Table

One of the most important things that Mueller explained was that charging Trump was never an option for the investigation. This goes back to what legal scholars have said, it is unconstitutional to charge a sitting president. Mueller knew this very well and never intended to charge the president even if he had found the evidence sufficient enough to do so.
