China is an economic powerhouse and they are largely responsible for creating many of the goods that go out across the world. The fact that China controls the manufacturing end of the global supply chain has been highlighted as a problem with the outbreak of the Coronavirus. The supply chain was brought to a halt due to the damages China suffered during the Coronavirus outbreak, as a result, most of the world was left without common goods.
The problem doesn’t end with common goods though after China recovered from the main outbreak they began shipping medical supplies to other nations affected by COVID-19.
