6.) What Is Getting CUT?

The left-wing National Priorities Project complemented the President with the following attack: “The president would cut funds for the major means preventing military conflict, the State Department, and foreign aid, by 41 percent, at the same time that he bulks up the Pentagon. Also among the hardest hit are energy and environmental programs which would receive a 36 percent cut, while housing and community programs would receive a 35 percent cut.” The following 22 programs would be defunded if the Trump budget were enacted:
 
The McGovern-Dole International Food for Education; The Rural Business and Cooperative Service;  Economic Development Administration; The Manufacturing Extension Partnership;  21st Century Community Learning Centers; GEAR UP; Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality; Advanced Research Projects Agency; The National Wildlife Refuge Fund; The Global Climate Change Initiative; NASA Office of Education; Chemical Safety Board, 
The Corporation for National and Community Service; Corporation for Public Broadcasting; Institute of Museum and Library Services; The Legal Services Corporation; The National Endowment for the Arts; The National Endowment for the Humanities;The Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation; Denali Commission; the Delta Regional Authority and the Northern Border Regional Commission; The U.S. Trade and Development Agency; and The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
