President Donald Trump and the White House sounded off on Sunday after Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report indicated that neither the president nor his campaign colluded with the Russian government during the 2016 election.
No Collusion, No Obstruction, Complete and Total EXONERATION. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 24, 2019
The Special Counsel did not find any collusion and did not find any obstruction. AG Barr and DAG Rosenstein further determined there was no obstruction. The findings of the Department of Justice are a total and complete exoneration of the President of the United States.”— Sarah Sanders (@PressSec) March 24, 2019
A great day for America and for President @realDonaldTrump. After two years of wild anti-Trump hysteria, the President and his millions of supporters have been completely vindicated.— Sarah Sanders (@PressSec) March 24, 2019

"The Special Counsel’s conclusions confirm the President’s account that there was no effort by his campaign to conspire or coordinate with Russia in its efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election." pic.twitter.com/GhNeUx3idP
It remains unclear if an investigation will be conducted into Hillary Clinton but either way the fact that the special counsel was unable to find collusion or obstruction of justice is a huge win for the president.
Before boarding Air Force One, Trump told reporters: "It was just announced there was no collusion with Russia, the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. There was no collusion with Russia, there was no obstruction."
Trump also referenced the investigation's connection to the criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton, saying: "Hopefully someone is going to look at the other side, this was an illegal takedown that failed."
