Twitter Takes Down Trump’s Tribute Video to George Floyd

 

Twitter v. Trump feud continues.

It the most recent round of the fight, Twitter has removed a video President Trump posted to the social media platform.

In a 3 minute and 45-second video, President Trump pays tribute to George Floyd, the Minneapolis man who was recently killed.

Twitter told the Daily Mail that the video was affected by its copyright policy:

‘We respond to valid copyright complaints sent to us by a copyright owner or their authorized representatives,’ a Twitter representative said.

However, the video remains intact on YouTube:


Earlier this week, Twitter “fact-checked” one of Trump’s tweets and labeled another tweet as “glorifying violence”.

Twitter also labeled one of Trump’s biggest congressional ally’s tweets this week as “glorifying violence as well (READ ABOUT IT HERE).
