New York Mayor Bill De Blasio called for the firing of a member of the NYPD after a video surfaced of the officer pulling his gun on a crowd of protesters. The video seems pretty cut and dry but any further look into the episode that took place reveals that not all is what it seems. The officer did in fact pull his gun out on a protester but only after protesters had thrown bricks at the officer and his supervisor. De Blasio was so quick to make this about him that he forgot to do even the most basic amount of research.
