It is well known in political circles that Kamala Harris is not Joe Biden’s first pick for Vice President. The two do not get along well according to reports and were strictly chosen as a result of identity politics. Many on the far left pushed Biden to pick an African American woman if he made it this far and would not offer their support unless he promised to do so.
