Joe Biden’s tax plan will ultimately hurt the American people by immeasurable metrics but some states will be hit much harder than others. If Democrat Joe Biden becomes President some states would have the highest marginal tax rate since the Tax Reform Act of 1986. Marginal tax rates are paid on the highest dollar earned and are typically lower than average tax rates.
