The couple has discussed leaving the country if President Trump is re-elected, especially after Teigen was on the wrong end of one of Trump’s tweets in 2019. John Legend, the only one with actual talent here, said to Cosmopolitan U.K. “Every once in a while you think about it. We were born and raised here, all of our families are here. It would be hard to leave. But I don’t know what one’s supposed to do when you have a leader who is trying to destroy democracy.”
