California
Governor Newsom partially brought back his stay-at-home order just in time for Thanksgiving. All counties in California’s “purple” tier enter a partial stay-at-home order meaning people may not leave their homes from the hours to 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. unless for essential work.
The California Department of Public Health is recommending families hold Thanksgiving celebrations outdoors with only two households and to keep the celebration under two hours. Certain indoor activities are also banned according to the Department of Public Health, “Singing, chanting, shouting, cheering, playing of wind instruments, and similar activities are not permitted in indoor gatherings.”
Due to the rise in #COVID19 cases, CA is issuing a limited Stay at Home Order.
Non-essential work and gatherings must stop from 10pm-5am in counties in the purple tier.
This will take effect at 10pm on Saturday and remain for 1 month.
Together–we can flatten the curve again.

While it’s safest not to gather, keep safety in mind if you do. Keep it short, outdoors, and small, with no more than two other households. Wear masks, stay at least six feet apart, and wash your hands. #YourActionsSaveLives pic.twitter.com/bBRGbnVInj
