Elizabeth Alexander

Elizabeth Alexander will work as communications director for the First Lady after working as a senior adviser on the Biden-Harris campaign. Alexander joined the campaign after working for a number of Democrats on Capitol Hill over the years, including then-Senator Biden as his communications director. She also worked as communications director for Adam Schiff and as deputy press secretary for Senator Chuck Schumer. After leaving the Hill, Alexander worked for the Obama-Biden administration as Vice President Biden’s press secretary.
