A former aide to New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo is coming forward with disturbing allegations against the Democrat. Lindsey Boylan, a former aide to Gov. Cuomo, is alleging that she was sexually harassed “for years” while she worked. The New York City aide worked with the governor’s administration for three years, from 2015 to 2018. Boylan made her allegations against the governor on Twitter and is confident she is not the only woman to be victimized

Boylan took to Twitter to provide more details of her experience, writing, “Yes, @NYGocCuomo sexually harassed me for years. Many saw it, and watched. I could never anticipate what to expect: would I be grilled on my work (which was very good) or harassed about my looks. Or would it be both in the same conversation? This was the way for years.”

Fox News reports:

She worked for Empire State Development, the state’s economic development public-benefit organization, until March 2018, when she became deputy secretary for economic development and special adviser to Cuomo.

Boylan did not provide details of any alleged incidents or name witnesses, and she has not responded to an inquiry from Fox News. She accused the governor’s office of being a “toxic” work environment earlier in December.

Boylan is one of many Democrats running for Manhattan borough president in 2021. She also ran against Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., in New York’s 10th Congressional District this year but lost by more than 40 points, according to Ballotpedia.

“Not knowing what to expect what’s the most upsetting part aside from knowing that no one would do a damn thing even when they saw it. No one. And I *know* I am not the only woman.” Boylan tweeted, emphasizing that she is not the only woman to have been harassed by the Democrat Governor.

Gov. Cuomo’s office has denied Boylan’s claims. The allegations came after Boylan recently tweeted that working for Gov. Cuomo was “the most toxic team environment” and people were “deathly afraid of him.”
