Conflict of interest

The best way to ensure that investigations into Hunter Biden are conducted ethically and without outside influence is for Attorney General Barr to appoint a special counsel. The same logic was behind John Durham’s appointment to special counsel and it applies now. AG Barr said he wanted Durham and his team to work “with the assurance that they could complete their work, without regard to the outcome of the election.” The appointment of a special counsel will safeguard against the looming conflict of interest between the President and his son.
