I met Liz once at a TEA Party event in Cody. She sure had a good line and gained support of the attendees. She didn’t win the nomination against sitting Senator Mike Enzi but now is a US Representative who, I’m sure, had TEA Party support in her election. If the GOP leaders follow through on this, the GOP Party will be finished. There is already an exodus of members going to the elections board in various states and changing their party affiliation to Independent/No Party from Republican status;. While I have not officially changed on paper, I became an independent back when George W Bush was in office. I remained a Republican on paper so that I could vote in the primaries for conservatives. But there are very few true conservatives left in the party, too many turncoats nowadays to suit my taste. One thing the Democrats do very well is that they stick together whereas the Republicans haven’t learned that tactic is becoming very plainly obvious sadly.
