Republican Women Senators discuss Supreme Court Nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett

Mississippi Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith was among the few Republicans who voted to object to the electoral college’s certification of Joe Biden. Sen. Hyde-Smith opposed the certification because “my constituents are alarmed with the erosion of integrity of the electoral process.” The Mississippi senator is expected to remain loyal to President Trump and voted against impeachment in the Senate.
