Joe Biden is proposing an increase to the supplemental unemployment benefit for Americans. Biden is proposing Americans get $400 a week instead of the current $300 which Congress approved in December. The proposal would also expand benefits to self-employed individuals, gig workers, and those who have exhausted their state benefits.
