As the second impeachment of Trump moves forward Democrats will need 17 Republicans to stray from party lines and vote to convict Trump. The House is set to send the impeachment article to the Senate today. So far, a series of Republican senators have voiced their plans to support or object to the impeachment proceedings. Many representatives have voiced concerns over the constitutionality of impeaching Trump now that he’s a private citizen.
