The Texas senator will not vote to convict Trump. Many individuals have thrown the blame on the Texas senator for helping incite the riot on Capitol Hill because of his support for Trump’s voter fraud claims. However, the Texan has stood by his choice. Cruz has been outspoken against impeachment calling it a “vindictive” move against Trump by Democrats.
