The defense counsel for former President Trump’s looming impeachment trial has released their defense memo to the Senate. In the 78-page brief, the team made up of Bruce Castor, Michael Schoen, and Michael van der Veen lay out their legal defense of Trump. The House voted to impeach the former president on insurrections charges and now he faces a Senate trial which is likely to end in an acquittal.
