Georgia was ranked as the seventh most free state according to the Fraser Institute’s annual Economic Freedom in North America index. The state received a rating of 7.27 out of 10. Over the past few years, the southern state has seen a rise in population, especially in the metro Atlanta area. The film industry has also migrated towards Georgia for lower production costs compared to Hollywood.
