California’s net loss was 190,122 for the year.  The Golden State’s record-high taxes, wildfires, blackouts, and oppressive leadership caused a big spike in moves over the past year. Not just in American families but in business as well. While California may still be considered the tech hub of the country because of Silicone Valley many companies decided to move their staff and business base West in search of more cost-effective solutions. Based on current estimates of migration patterns throughout the states experts are speculating that California will lose one U.S. House seat while some “freer” states can expect to gain seats.
