Senator Ted Cruz released exclusive footage from a recent trip to the border. During the video showing tons of immigrants packed tightly under foil blankets in an immigration facility as a Biden official can be seen demanding Cruz stop the video and standing in front of the camera attempting to block his view.

This comes as the Biden administration has prohibited media and journalists from touring the facilities under the guise that it would be a health hazard. However, as footage from lawmakers continues to be released it’s becoming increasingly clear President Biden is attempting to hide the true humanitarian crisis at the border he has created.

Fox News reports:

“So you work for the commissioner, you’re a senior adviser, you were hired two weeks ago and you’re instructed to ask us to not have any pictures taken here because the political leadership at DHS does not want the American people to know it,” Cruz said.

“Please don’t treat the people as such,” the staffer responded.

“Your policies are unfortunately trying to hide them. I understand that you were instructed,” Cruz said. “I respect them, and I want to fix this situation, and the administration that you work for is responsible for these conditions.”

“The Donna facility where that video you just showed was taken, the Donna facility is this giant tent city that they’ve built. It’s massive. It’s designed to hold a thousand people but under Covid restrictions, its capacity is 250. It right now has over 4,000 people in it. It is at a 1,500% capacity and that meant you saw in these cages children, little boys and little girls, side by side, they’re not 6-feet apart,” Cruz said on Sunday.

Ted Cruz joined a Republican delegation to visit the border and also released the shocking images below. President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have yet to address the situation at the border as a crisis and have reflected no future plans to visit the border anytime soon.

Recent reports from Axios say that the spike in unaccompanied minors crossing the border is likely to continue for at least the next seven months with over 25,000 minors crossing the border each month.
