Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall also joined 21 other states to protect the 2nd Amendment. According to Fox News, “The states argue that the right to bear arms protects those in disadvantaged communities, and in high-crime areas where law enforcement may be unable to respond in time to crimes being committed.”
