Missouri Senator Josh Hawley signed the letter for a comprehensive investigation into Kahl. Biden’s nominee has already faced an uphill battle to confirmation as Senate Armed Services Committee voted on party lines to advance his nomination. Even moderate Republican Sen. Susan Collins stated she plans to oppose his nomination.
