“Is That a Socialist Perspective?”
Prior to the 2020 election, Kamala Harris was interviewed by Norah O’Donnell for 60 Minutes where the journalist noted that nonpartisan tracker GovTrack rated Harris the most liberal United States senator. When referencing specific progressive policy items that Harris has supported but Biden has not she laughed it off. Then when she was asked if her views could be considered aligned with socialism burst out laughing once again. Despite the serious nature of the interview Harris could;t keep a straight face, something O’Donnell did not seem too amused by.
