During a phone interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, former President Trump said he would absolutely consider tapping Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as his pick for Vice President if he runs in 2024. Trump says he is “100 percent” considering another presidential campaign but has yet to make a final decision.

“Are you thinking about running again, Mr. President, in 2024?” Bartiromo asked Trump Thursday morning.

“Yes, 100 percent,” he quickly replied. “And the polls show that everybody wants me to do it. 100 percent I’m thinking about running and we will, I think, be very successful.”

Trump recently told Dan Bongino Americans will likely have to wait until after the 2022 midterm elections for Trump to make any formal announcements. The former president was been endorsing Republican candidates as the party works to win back the House.

In the interview, Trump notes DeSantis’ popularity with Republicans saying he would be an obvious consideration.

“Well he’s a friend of mine,” Trump said. “I endorsed Ron and after I endorsed him he took off as a rocket ship, he’s done a great job as governor.”

“A lot of people like that – you know, I’m just saying what I read and what you read – they love that ticket. But certainly Ron would be considered, he’s a great guy,” Trump added.

    1. General Flynn is another go getter, highly intelligent and with much experience, he has made some calls that had they at least have been considered things would not be in such a mess now.

  1. It’s first necessary to fix the voting processes. No matter how good a ticket is, it’s no match for the kind of corruption and fraud we saw last November. Hopefully all states will tighten up their systems to prevent the thieving Democrats from stealing another one.

    1. The Dems have already shown their true colors. They’ve been fighting, in court, to stop the AZ election audit. We need more audits of the swing states.

    2. That is absolutely true, I lost all confidence in our election process. If the states that our Beloved And DULY ELECTED PRESIDENT TRUMP WON THEN AT 3 IN THE MORNING LOST WOULD FIX IT SO WE HAVE AN HONEST ELECTION AGAIN. THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL I VOTE AGAIN

    3. I read in a couple of articles that SOROS is fighting hard to get this audit stopped !!!! I so wish this evil man and his money would evaporate !!!

      1. If Soros is fighting hard to get the audit stopped, then that is proof right there that the election was stolen. Because, why would he be fighting hard to get the audit stopped if the election wasn’t stolen?

  2. DeSantis with Tim Scott, that is a winning ticket. Trump can be the king maker without the polarizing talk. DeDantis and Scott are just as tough and will stand firm but without the hammer to the head style of Trump. Of course if Trump runs I’ll support him.

    1. I agree. Trump’s policies are great but I am afraid that in the last election his persona and style turned off a lot of people (including my wife who liked what he was doing but could not stand the man on a personal level). IMHO, Trump would best serve the conservative cause by being a strong supporter rather than being an actual presidential candidate in 2024.

      1. It was not Trump’s personna, it was the cowards in these swing state legislatures that allowed their laws to be broken…

      2. I couldn’t stand my oncologist but sure loved her efforts….Your wife needs to concentrate on that which is important…..

      3. Sorry, disagreed. President Trump did not turn off voters or supporters. His presidential winning got stolen. Please do not fall into the trap of forgetting his November 3, 2020 Election winning but Democrats stole it for Biden who did not go campaign – while President Trump worked very hard and successfully until the last day.

        1. My comments have nothing to do with a stolen election, this being another issue altogether. My point, however, is that I know for a fact that some people did not vote for Trump because of his style. While I firmly believe in voting for policies rather than personalities, some others regrettably do not. For a real-life example, in my circle of about thirty friends, most are registered as Independents. Within that group, four of the women and two of the men stated that they were not voting for Trump solely because of his persona. I totally agree that this is foolish but it also is reality. While I certainly will vote for Trump if he is on the ballot in 2024, it would be an absolute disaster if the Republicans lost a close election due to the never-Trump vote.

    2. Ted Cruz and Tim Scott for VP. No one knows government like Ted Cruz. Trump adopted what Cruz has been fighting for all along. The never Trumpers would vote for Cruz. 8 years of building a great economy.

  3. I wonder if there will be any United States of American left by the time 2024 rolls around. At the rate things are deteriorating under the biden regime our country may be a territory under Chinese control by 2024. The biden controllers have been in charge of our country for three months and the destruction thus far is beyond anything I could have imagined.

    1. We have the 2022 elections where voters have another opportunity to vote out as many Dems as possible to help insure the intregity of our elections. Thus why the Dems want to federalize the elections to allow them to control all aspects of the voting process. Let’s keep our elected officials know, we don’t support that one bit. We need to do our part to keep our elections honest and above board, not repeat the corruption they got away with in Nov 2020.

  4. I can’t think of anyone else who would be able to serve this country as VP as well as Ron DeSantis. He always does whats right for people and is a total success in Florida, and well loved. Hes a proven leader just like President Trump.

  5. Yes it would be but I would hope he considers Ted or Trey maybe even sen Scott. Whoever he chooses will be a strong candidate. Trump 2024

  6. Excellent pick. A man who could easily win in 2028 for a 2 term administration. I also think we all should keep our eyes on Senator Tim Scott.

  7. DeSantis is smart enough to know that the MSM will be all over him – 24x7x365. They will always try to get to him, and get him to say something controversial for a quick soundbite. They will use any lie, distorted statement, edited statement, edited video to paint him and Pres. Trump as two lunatic peas in a pod.

  8. Wow what a team Trump and DeSantis would make !!! Think they would kick some rear ends and take names !!! We are hopeful, Mr.T !!!

  9. If Trump gets in next time, he has to play the same way they are. No false accusations this time. He legitimately HAS to play a dictator role to undo everything. His mistake last term was playing by the rules. Since Obama, rules have not mattered. If he didn’t learn his lesson, then his term will be very short next round.

  10. DeSantis has been an amazing governor, Florida still needs him with so many moving there to get away from their current states, I like Flynn for vp

  11. Unfortunately, he probably needs a woman, even though Governor is great. And, I am selfish and want him to continue as my Governor!

  12. What a Republican Ticket that would be!
I would be elated! Just think: to have our
President Trump for four years; then the next
four year, Ron DeSantis! Our country would,
once again, be safe, fair and productive.

  13. He’s a FANTASTIC candidate with guts and testicular fortitude. If so, poor Florida better hump it to replace him with one with similar guts and grit!

  14. President Trump and Gov DeSantis would be the perfect Presidential Ticket for 2024! I believe every American Patriot would jump at that ticket and put those two INCREDIBLE INDIVIDUALS IN OUR HIGHEST POSITION OF LEADERSHIP! IT IS A MEGA EXECUTIVE TICKET AND I PRAY THAT GOD PROTECTS THEM BOTH AND GUIDES THEM INTO OUR WHITE HOUSE TO SAVE THIS GREAT COUNTRY!

  15. We have to see how the primaries turn out. Trump/DeSantis would be good but so would DeSantis/Scott. And there may still be a dark horse out there. The main thing is we have to fix the voting mess and stop the fraud. State legislatures need to purge the current voting rolls and start over with a clean slate. Control of Congress must be taken away from the Marxist democrats in 2022.

  16. Let’s go Trump 2024. And after his term, then we put deSantis next. I’m in all the way with Trump/DeSantis 2024 ticket. That would be the greatest Presidential/VP ticket American history. Two strong true American conservative Republicans. Let’s go…..

  17. Ronn DeSantis could be a complimentary addition to Trump’s team, as well as a hard worker and knowledgeable.
