House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was one of the first Republicans to publicly endorse Rep. Stefanik to fill Cheney’s role as House GOP Chair. “Do you support Elise Stefanik for that job,” Fox News host Maria Bartiromo asked McCarthy. His answer was short and sweet, “yes, I do.”
