The Supreme Court will also rule on a case regarding Arizona voting rights.

Republican defenders of Arizona’s restrictions note the need to combat voting fraud after the 2020 election. A ruling upholding the restrictions has the potential to undermine the Voting Rights Act, a landmark 1965 federal law that prohibits racial discrimination in voting.
