Secretary of State Antony Blinken

Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s wife, Evan Ryan also works for the administration as the White House Cabinet Secretary.

Unlike her husband, Ryan’s position didn’t require Senate confirmation. Her role involved her being the middle-man between President Biden and the cabinet departments and agencies. Prior to her appointment in the Biden administration, Ryan also served during the Obama administration as assistant to the vice president and special assistant to the president for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement.
