Democrats refuse to give up on their claims that former President Trump is responsible for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. However, even some Republicans have played a major role in pushing the Jan. 6th witch hunt forward. Despite failed attempts to create a Jan. 6 commission, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi decided to move ahead and create her own. The select panel had a tumultuous start when she vetoed two Republican nominees causing House HOP Leader McCarthy to yank the rest of the nominees.
