A new report released by Republicans on the origin of the virus supports recent theories that the COVID-19 accidentally leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China. Top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Mike McCaul, released the report and also urged for a bipartisan investigation into the virus responsible for more than 4.4 million people across the world.

The report also cited “ample evidence” that Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) scientists — aided by U.S. experts and Chinese and U.S. government funds — were working to modify coronaviruses to infect humans and such manipulation could be hidden.
“We now believe it’s time to completely dismiss the wet market as the source,” said the report. “We also believe the preponderance of the evidence proves the virus did leak from the WIV and that it did so sometime before September 12, 2019.”
The report cited what it called new and under-reported information about safety protocols at the lab, including a July 2019 request for a $1.5 million overhaul of a hazardous waste treatment system for the facility, which was less than two years old.
In April, the top U.S. intelligence agency said it concurred with the scientific consensus that the virus was not man-made or genetically modified.
China has continued to deny allegations that it actively engaged in a coverup to hide the origins of the genetically mutated virus.
The crucial sentence here is, “aided by U.S. experts and Chinese and U.S. government funds”. Yep, Fauci and our very own government are just as guilty as China for allowing this to happen.
The GOP should support it. Most of us have believed it from git go. What took the GOP so long to believe it.

Where are millions of jobs from solar panels that Kerry and you promised? The evidence supporting the virus came from the lab has been known for a long time. I believe it was the Epoch Times, or one of the other real new papers, reported the fact that a lab employee was in jail in China for selling the animals used in the experiments to the markets instead of cremating them the animals. They also reported on the various other issues at the lab.
The only defense here is that this is so totally unbelievable. It is akin to the US working with Iran to develop long range nuclear weapons.
The story I saw was sometime btw the end of Oct and start of Nov, 3 scientists at WIV were hospitalized with covid. Wuhan was locked down. Doors were welded shut to force quarantine. All domestic travel was blocked. International worldwide travel was allowed for another 4 months until other countries blocked China. CCP appealed these decisions.
This clearly makes this a WEAPONISED bio weapon
