Bridgeport, CT was ranked among America’s worst cities for labor recovery, last month the city reported an 11.70% unemployment rate. The city is led by Mayor Joe Ganim who was convicted on federal corruption charges in 2003, the Democrat was later re-elected as mayor in 2015 after serving 7 years in prison.
