Radical Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar has fiercely advocated defunding police departments across the country. However, the “Squad” member doesn’t want to tell Americans that she’s shelled out more than $3,103.61 for her own personal security detail.
Omar has called her state’s police department “rotten to the root” while proposing massive budget cuts.
“You can’t really reform a department that is rotten to the root. What you can do is rebuild,” Omar said at the time. “And so, this is our opportunity, you know, as a city to come together and have the conversation of what public safety looks like, who enforces the most dangerous crimes that take place in our community.”
