Dr. Cordie Williams is NOT endorsing anyone for governor but he had an eloquent defense of Larry Elder and his comments on the election. Dr. Cordie explains why it is imperative that you trust the character of a person in an arena as dirty as politics.
Plus one big tease!
Kind of incoherent, but in part of it he sounded like he’s saying you need to appease Bernie Sander’s voters because you can’t win otherwise. So, does he mean you should lie about your position to get Sander’s voters?
If so, why not be explicit and just say it directly? If not, why is he bringing it up in the first place, since they’re a lost vote anyway?
I don’t agree. Strategizing vs Integrity is fundamentally flawed. Sorry, I want my candidate to proudly and courageously represent his own honest views. I’m voting for character, not strategy. And were I a candidate, I wouldn’t want to win an election based on strategic commentary vs truth. Sure, there are risks, but it is worth taking.
