Attacking U.S. Citizens for Trying to Evacuate Kabul
In another eyebrow-raising message, Media Matters president Angela Carusone mocked Americans for reaching out to senators for assistance leaving Afghanistan. Carusone’s tone-deaf message came after Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton tweeted that any American stranded in Afghanistan should contact his office, offering to help in any way to evacuate the trapped Americans.
Imagine being trapped in Afghanistan in this moment..and thinking best person to call is Tom Cotton of all people.
