Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Robert Menendez (D-NJ) announced that he too would be holding hearings in relation to Afghanistan. 

In a statement Senator Menendez said that his hearings would focus on “the Trump administration’s flawed negotiations with Taliban, and the Biden administration’s flawed execution of the U.S. withdrawal.”

Like many other Democrats, Menendez is attempting to rope Trump into the mix and blame him for the current crisis in Kabul.
